    Hello!

Please allow me to ask this brain dead question. I select the configuration item in the virtual machine's menu at the top of the Mac toolbar which presents the configuration of a list options such as Startup and Shutdown, Optimization, and so forth. I do not see the Coherence menu item that would allow me to configure Coherence mode attributes. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello RobertG4,
The particular option which you are looking for has been removed in Parallels Desktop 11 because by default Parallels Desktop 11 is configured to correct settings.

OK. But this leaves me with one problem. I want to have Windows apps that are initiated and come up in their separate window on the Mac desktop to show up on the Mac dock, just like other Mac specific apps do. Right now this is not happening. So if I bury a window of a Windows app below other apps on the desktop, I cannot simply click on its icon that resides on the dock to bring it back to the top.

PS: A strange thing just happened. I toggle the Windows task bar first to be displayed, and then to be hidden, and now the Windows apps are showing up on the Mac dock. There should be a setting for this somewhere.

Hi Robert, try switching to Coherence mode you will be able to view the Windows application separately on the Mac desktop.
