I have just moved my Windows 10 PVM to a new late 2015 IMac. It has been working fine on a 2009 iMac with Parallels 10. On installation, I found that I was unable to install Parallels Tools so, with a sense of frustration, I installed Parallels 11 trial, and then the tools. Everything, with one exception, is working as it should. The exception is that when I attempt to tie the '@' sign in Windows 10 I get ' " '. I may be having another senior moment but I cannot work out what is going on. The language etc are all correct and the keyboard works as it should in MacOSX El Capitan.

Fixed - thank you. Now how do I rollback to Parallels 10?

You just need to remove Parallels Desktop 11 first, refer to this article. Then download and install Parallels Desktop 10, refer to this article.

Thanks again. I was worried if I did this then I would get the same result as before; i.e., a failed Parallel Tools install. I am pleased to say that after a couple of attempts, the Tools re-installed properly in Parallels 10 and everything seems to be working as it should.
