This is a problem that I experienced with PD10 running on OS X Mavericks but is now happening to me with PD11 on El Capitan. Here is how I can replicate the problem: Have a full screen Windows 7 VM running in full screen in its own desktop to the right of Desktop 1 On Desktop 1, open a PDF in Preview by double clicking on it Keyboard: Control + Right Arrow to switch over to the Parallels VM Keyboard: Control + Left Arrow to switch back to Desktop 1 Keyboard: Command + Q to quit Preview (which is still the active application) Preview quits, but immediately after that, Parallels steals the focus of the Desktop, as if I hit Control + Right Arrow It doesn't matter if the full screen VM is directly to the right of Desktop 1 or if there is a Desktop 2 in between Desktop 1 and the VM. It also doesn't seem to matter what application I open. It's done it with Preview, Skype, ClamXAV and others. Anyone experienced this before? PD v11.0.2 Build 31348 OSX 10.11.1 Mid 2012 non-Retina MacBook Pro
The same Problem still persists in Parallels Version 11.1.0 (32202). Mid 2014 Retina MacBook Pro OSX 10.11.1 Its pretty annoying so i hope this is getting fixed soon.
Thank god I'm not the only one experiencing this. I dont know many people who use Parallels but those who do havent reported it. I use Parallels in full screen mode without Coherence or whatever its called nowadays. Maybe thats contributing to it.
