Can someone help me... I must have done something wrong but can't work out what and where...

Background: I had my original Parallels 8 installed on my MacBookPro all was good and smooth, I then upgraded to 10, still all is good and smooth. I now got myself an iMac and wanted to move my Parallels there... So I copied the .pvm to a disc, uninstalled it on my MacBook, then first tried to instal 10 on the iMac and then adding my .pvm... but something didn't work. So I installed 8, added my .pvm and then did the upgrade again to 10. Now it's sort of working except for...
Issue: 1, it's really slow in general! Anytime I click on anything on my Windows 7 it takes ages to react. 2, a more particular issue seems to be that it tries to do everything via the network... when I open excel for example and I want to open a file... it first says "Trying to connect to: \\psf\Home.... 3, also when saving a file it tells me the same and sometimes even something about not being able to save there because I need to add it to the library or so?

Why? It never did that before, can anyone tell me where I went wrong or what I can change so it just runs on the iMac? No network connections things?
