Does anyone know how to get rid of secure input in Parallels?

I use Text Expander as a productivity app - it does a great job of taking shorter snippets and creating much longer texts. Unfortunately, since upgrading to Parallels 11, I can't use this program anymore. Here is the info that I get from Text Expander:

"Secure event input is enabled when you type in a password field and in other instances by certain applications. Secure input prevents keylogging malware from recording passwords, but it also prevents snippet expansion.

Secure input was recently enabled by: Parallels Desktop

If secure input remains enabled after you exit a password field, TextExpander will not be able to expand your snippets. Try quitting the application that enabled secure input."

I'd hate to have to revert back to Parallels 10...

I would also like an answer to this, as this is a significant productivity impact.
