hello, I'm trying to upgrade from v.9 to v.11 and my Installer won't except it, apparently my OS10.8.5 wouldn't run the installation, OS10.9 is needed. However, before buying version 11, I've checked the documentation and OS10.8.5 is on the list! Any ideas on what to do?

Anyways, here is my problem: I cannot upgrade to Mavericks or Yosemite right now because of some software I'm running on OS10.8 and I have just bought a Pro version of Perallels11 which I can't use. Can I upgrade to Parallels10 without renouncing the Pro contract and buying an upgrade to 10 (using v9 currently)?
