Discussion in 'Installation and Configuration of Parallels Desktop' started by Parallels User, Sep 15, 2015.

  1. Hi,
Am I supposed to get unlimited licenses with the purchase of the Pro? Because I cannot seem to able to install it on my other computer even with the same email... it says limit reached

Hello, yes you can have unlimited number of licenses with Parallels Desktop pro. However every license is a paid license. The notification on the website stated that ' you can have unlimited number of Paid licenses under one email account' and in case of the standard version you can have a maximum of 5 licenses under one email account. Also, as per our licensing policy you can activate one license of Parallels Desktop on only one Mac. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

translation: for every purchase you make, you can install parallels on only 1 computer at a time.

think of Pro as more of a guarantee that if a new version of parallels comes out in 6 months, you've already purchased it with your subscription.

anyway, if you have 1 mac, you purchase 1 license ($79.99). if you want to run parallels on 2 macs, purchase 2 licenses ($159.98), etc.

And if you don't pay when the 12 months are up, the app turns into a pumpkin and is unusable!!!!!!!
