Hello, I am using Parallels 10 with Win 8.1 and Yosemite. In Win 8.1 I can establish a VPN connection to my office, but in OS X there is no access to the VPN connection, even when using the bridged network setting in Parallels. When searching the forum I found a solution based on the ICS in Win, but this won't work because due to our IT guidelines it is impossible to activate ICS on VPN. Is there any possibility to access the Win VPN in OS X? Many greetings mac-alex
Hi mac-alex_2003, If you would like to share VPN from the Mac side you should use Shared Network type. If you would like to leave virtual machine in Bridge mode, please install VPN client directly in virtual machine and use it separately. You can change the type of the network adapter to fix the issue: 1.Shut down the virtual machine. 2.Open virtual machine configuration. 3.Switch to the Hardware tab > Network 1. 4.Please choose the Shared Network type. 5.Launch virtual machine and check the issue.
Hello, I want to use the Win-VPN on the mac side. So I have it installed in the VM, this works. But I can not use this on the mac side. I checked the Shared Network => same as bridged, no connection through the VPN from the mac side. Did I do something wrong? Yours mac-alex
