I have a 2012 Mac Mini server 2.6 ghz with 16 GB of memory. Not a lot of memory but it will suffice - 16 is the max for minis. I use Windows 7 for tasks that are probably not that demanding: Most of what I do is use IE8 for work at a site where there are a few custom add-ons to make the site work. I also use a program called Rapid Sketch, which is a simple 2D drawing program that is integrated into the IE8 workflow: the app is launched via links on the IE8 site and its products are saved into the IE8 workflow. I also move images around and upload them unto a web server via an IE8 interface. There you have it: no photoshop or anything hardcore. My question is should I allocate just 1 core rather than 2? And, what is the perfect choice for how much memory to locate?

    thanks!

Hi, in this case you can allocate 1-1.5 GB of RAM to your Windows virtual machine.
