How to run W10 on WiFi? - Xbox App doesn't recognise Xbox One

I'll try and keep this simple.

I've tried many network settings in the config menu on PD10, but none of them will make it show the Xbox One in the Xbox App. It's as if i'm not on the same WiFi network, (which you have to be.) The XB1 streaming works on my home PC, so it's something to do with the network settings of PD10.

If i enter the IP it still won't work.

Can it be possible to make PD10 show the WiFi routers in the network settings? Like it's an actual PC laptop, like below?

I've had a look at this http://kb.parallels.com/4948 But it hasn't got the answer, it just shows me what each network setting means.

Has anyone else had this same problem?

Thank you for reading and any help anyone can give!

    - Matt

    hi,
if you use bridged Wi-Fi VM will be in the same network the Mac is connected to. So, switch to this network and type X-Box IP address

Shared network should work as well

Hi, looks strange. please execute the following command from Mac Terminal (Applications/utilities/Terminal):
    ifconfig
    ping 192.168.0.6
    and attach result here
the execute the following from Windows Command Prompt (right-click Start button > Command Prompt)
    ipconfig /all
    ping 192.168.0.6

Okay, under the new install of Windows 10 N, i figured it out.

Apparently if you are running an N-version of Windows 10, for some reason the streaming doesn't work. I was running Windows 10 Pro N and after installing the standard Windows 10 Pro (so, not the N-version), I was able to stream again!

FIX for Windows 10 N-Versions: Install the Microsoft Media Feature Pack , tried this solution on my second laptop and it fixed the I-can't-stream problem (without reinstalling windows)
