    Hi,
After upgrading my parallels installation to 11 from 10 my work VM does no longer boot. the VM is encrypted with mcafee endpoint encryption and the machine boots fine join parallels 10. In Paralells 11 I get the following error:
Fatal error [0xee020006] getting disk info

Anyone else seeing this in Parallells 11?

Also if I load up the vm on Parallels desktop 10 it boots like it used to.

On advice from parallels I changed the connection type from my virtual hard disk to ide0:1 from sata0:1 and it allows my vm to boot. But it feels a lot slower now.

I've got the same issue and changing to ide0:1 allowed me to boot. I hope that they fix this issue ASAP.

I just updated to v11 from 10 and had the same problem, thankfully i found your post before going ahead with a full restore. @parallels support what is the timeframe for fixing this issue? It seems the IDE0:1 option is significantly slower than SATA0:1

I also ran into this issue and had restored my .pvm all the way back to my oldest time machine backup to no avail. Then found this thread which allowed me to boot normally and yes, it is SLOW now.

I just got this issue upgrading from v10 to v12.
Had to time machine back to get it working again although I didn't try using IDE as I had to urgently get it working again to do some work.

Is there a fix for this yet?

This issue you have encountered is different from the issue with previous versions and it is investigated by the engineering team. We have shared the same information on our Facebook conversation.
