I am running Virtual Windows 7HP with Desktop Ver 10. All my windows shortcuts were working fine , I use XMENU to combine all my frequently used programs and tool into a single menu.
After upgrading to Desktop ver 11 my windows shortcuts were displaying a security warning (from windows I presume). While attempting to resolve this and recreating windows shortcuts I now find that they run erratically. Sometime they open as required sometime not. It seems that there is some sort of delay and if I wait long enough something will clear and that shortcut will resume working but then stop next time it is used.
Some of my windows shortcuts use parameters to open particular files upon starting.
    Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Update. Newly created windows shortcuts work with coherence mode off. Turn it on and they stop working. Turn it back on and they become erratic, maybe the delay issue??

Hi, please clarify what exact apps and what exact shortcuts you are using.
    Check the following:
In menu bar two red bars > Preferences > Shortcuts > sets "Send OS X system shortcuts" option to "Always"

Hi Matt, The most important apps I am using in Windows are VT Transaction Plus, Bookkeeping and Docucabinet v2.2 document management. Both run from windows desktop shortcuts. In Windows navigate to program .exe, right click and send shortcut to desktop. Then edit desktop properties to include file path after the program name. The shortcut also appears on Max Desktop. Create alias and move to XMENU custom folder (or leave on the mac desktop).

Send OS Shortcuts was set to Auto, now changed to Always. Shortcuts seem to be much more stable than before. Looks promising, thank you. I'll monitor over the next few days and repost if problems continue.

I've just now understood that you are writing about programs shortcuts (icons on the Desktop), while I was thinking that you are referring to keyboard shortcut... the setting I advised has nothing to do with the app shortcuts, so you better revert changes to 'auto'...

    What is XMENU, please?
