    Hi All,
im having an issue with Parallels Desktop 10, Windows 7 x64
Im always use to fullscreen mode and ive decided to start using the Coherence mode for easyness,
however my Windows Explorer keeps crashing
I load up my VM, start it on Coherence Mode, all goes well, can use apps, control panel, etc...
BUT when I go to Computer, Document (anything folder related to Windows Explorer)
the Windows Explorer just crashes with 'Not responding' message
    no warning, no nothing
    any ideas?
    Regards
    Simon

I'm assuming it only happens in coherence?

Go into configuration of your VM and under sharing uncheck "share mac user folders with windows". Restart the VM and try again. Is it still locking up on you?

Yes only coherence mode and I have this disabled/unchecked from the word go, so it's not this :(

A few more suggestions, otherwise do help => report a problem. Parallels will actually ask to log into your VM and they can take a look.

    But the suggestions...
    1) Do a scandisk of all drives. Afterwards do a compress drive in Parallels to be sure there are no errors
    2) Make sure you don't have other network drives connected that might be timing out. Remanence of VMWare or some work share folders that are not available will cause Explorer to lock up. Check pinned locations and actual mapped drives. You can also check from cmd prompt (press win+r, type "cmd" then in the black window type "net use" and it will list all your active connections).

Like I said, if that doesn't work, next step is to do a help report to Parallels.
