    Hi.
I downloaded the beta 3 trial for Windows Server 2008 (the file was wsl_6001.16510.070417-1740_x64fre_server-KB3SxFRE_EN_DVD.iso). When I tried to boot it in parallels from that iso image, it said that windows setup was loading, and then I got this screen.

I guess Parallels doesn't support 64 bit operating systems? Or is it that the Mac can't support 64 bit (until Leopard comes out)? Or is it a problem that can be fixed with a modified Parallels?

    Hello ariell
You are right, current version Parallels doesn't support 64 bit operating systems.

Will this be fixed in an update/upgrade?

just wanted to give an update. i have 2008 running just fine! pretty cool. have it as a DC, using my xp virtual machine as a member of that domain. :)

You need to set the OS to Vista, and it'll run fine.
