I have recently upgraded to Win 10 and I now find that my touchpad only works to scroll vertically when using Windows apps. In Win 8.1 touchpad worked perfectly and it still works as normal when in Mac OS.
I notice the the Windows settings do not identify the touchpad as a Precision Touchpad. Anyone have any ideas?

Maria. Thanks for the reply. Parallels Tools was already installed, but as you suggested, I reinstalled. There was no improvement. I then uninstalled Parallels Tools and reinstalled again and still no change.

So it seems I have solved the issue, albeit a strange one. I just happened to changed the display settings associated to the size of text and apps etc. I set this to 200% and I now have the ability to use my touchpad in the way it is designed. If the setting is over 200%, then the problem comes back. When the macbook display is set at default, 200% is the recommended size in Windows. Scale the mac resolution for more space and then 250% is recommended in Windows.....but then the touchpad does not work. Bring it back to 200% everything is ok. This is weird. Is it a display driver issue?

I believe I'm having the same issues. I upgraded from Windows 7 Pro, to Windows 10, and I no longer have trackpad gestures available within Windows 10. With 7, I was able to use pinch zoom, and the the swipe gestures I had set up. Windows 10 and Parallels 10 are updated. I have reinstalled Parallel tools multiple times with any resolution.

ZacharyH2, try changing the size of text, apps etc in Windows 10 Display Settings. I found that at 200% the touchpad gestures were fully restored

I tried that, but it still didn't work.
Also, that is not an option when connected to an external 1080P monitor.
For now, it may be easier to go back to Windows 7.

This is really annoying. It now seems the touchpad properties come and go.....what is causing this. I have changed nothing since yesterday and today the touchpad does not function correctly

I ended up going back to Windows 7, and all seems to be good. I'll wait for a while a to see if it gets resolved before I upgrade again.

I just received an email for Parallels 11, with "Windows 10 support). Will upgrading fix these issues?

I'm on Parallels 12, Windows 10, 200% under Display Settings, and no "Your laptop has a precision touchpad" statement under Settings - Devices - Mouse and Touchpad. Seems like a huge loss of functionality in Windows 10 Parallels VMs.
