I cant seem to change the memory settings on Ubuntu. its stuck at 1 GB, actual available is 900k and I cant figure out how to increase it. Trying to load Oracle 11g. I have 4Gb on my mac and I would like to change the settings so I can load Oracle. The only option I can think of is to get rid of the VM and reinstall.

    thanks for any advice

    Hi Josephj2
Have you tried selecting your vm, then using the parallels menu >Action> Configure> Hardware >CPU & Memory you should be able to increase your allocated memory there.
