Hi, i've started streaming within the Xbox App on Windows 10. And only the Audio was present, no Video. Works in a physical Windows Device. Retina iMac 2014, Mac OS 10.10.4, Parallels for Desktop 10.2.1 (29006). Best Regards Albert
Yes, that worked. I have now a low resolution VM .... mostly for gaming, and maybe making screencasts
Hey guys, I'm also trying to get Game Streaming to work, it streams for me but is awfully laggy and slow, I have to play on "low" settings to get it somewhat playable. On my Microsoft Surface I can play on high settings. Are you all having any issues with that? Is there a way to get better Wifi drivers in Parallels maybe, or what else could cause this? Thanks!
For me, Game Streaming over WLAN Sucks, even it needs only about 8-10 Mbit/s ... and i thought i had a good wlan here. But it sucks also with Windows Hardware. So this seems having nothing to do VM (which only has to display an 10 Mbit Stream of HD Video). Over LAN Streaming is fine, on Hardware and VM. It sucks with WLAN on my iMac (which is 2 meters from the Access Point) and also on my Dell Laptop in the same room as the Access Point. Parallels has no WiFi Driver, it uses the Connection from the host. So the thing that may help is better wifi on the host.
I think you're right - I think it works better on my Surface because that device is 802.11ac which my router supports, I will think about updating my Mac. I followed a few KB articles for tweaks and it runs now in low settings, better than nothing! Thanks.
