So I have Windows 8.1 running on my Macbook Pro through bootcamp, but I then ran parallels off of that bootcamp. But my question is, if I just update to Windows 10 in my boot camp, with the parallels still work? Or should I just delete my VM and make a new one after.
Hi @RyanC3, if you imported the VM from BootCamp, you VM works separately, it means that all of your changes on the BootCamp side will not appear on the VM side. But if you create BootCamp based VM and don't import it, all of your BootCamp changes will appear on the VM side, for example if you install new app or Windows OS update on the BootCamp side the same app and update will appear on the VM side.
