I've swapped the ctrl and cmd keys for a Win 8.1 but as a result, I have lost the ability to select multiple items (files in windows explorer for example) by holding ctrl and click. How can I fix this problem?
Hi Doovers, could you please reproduce the issue and explain us with the steps in points (for example: 1,2,3..)
Hi Dhruba, 1. Configure > Hardware > Mouse & Keyboard > Shortcuts > Select Virtual Machine 2. Add 2 shortcuts - Ctrl > Win - Cmd > Ctrl 3. Open Windows Explorer 4. Click on one file 5. Hold Cmd and click on another file Expected behaviour: Both files are selected Actual behaviour: Only 2nd file is selected
Hi Doover, navigate to the same location Configure > Hardware > Mouse & Keyboard > Shortcuts > Select Virtual Machine and then click on restore settings. If the issue persist, try un-installing and re-installing Parallels Desktop. 1. To remove Parallels Desktop, please follow the steps suggested at, http://kb.parallels.com/122653 (Use PD remover) 2. Empty Trash. 3. Reboot the Mac. 4. Download Parallels Desktop 10 from here and then install it. Note: Un-installing and re-installing Parallels Desktop will not affect your virtual machine.
Hi I tried what you suggested but the issue persists. I have discovered however that it is only a problem in coherence mode. What can I try next?

Hi! I'm having this exact problem with Parallels Desktop 14. The issue only happens in Coherence mode after switching the cmd and ctrl keys.
