Here are the details of what I'm running: 12" Retina MacBook, MacOS Yosemite 10.10.4 (just ran the update today, was having the same problem in the prior version of MacOS as well) Parallels Desktop 10.2.1, Build 29006 Windows 8.1 Pro, all current service packs installed Microsoft Outlook 15.0.4727.1003 I've got my virtual memory set to 3GB and I use the Windows side almost exclusively for VPN so I can use two applications: Outlook and SAP, so there aren't a lot of demanding processes running on the Windows side. The Mac side, even with Windows running, is lightning quick, but the Windows side crawls, especially Outlook. Sometimes Outlook is so slow to respond that I can type an entire paragraph in an e-mail before the screen catches up. Any recommendations? I'm hesitant to reinstall Windows because of what an absolute pain the Activation process is. This same setup ran wonderfully on my Mid-2011 MacBook Air, so it won't be easy to convince me that my hardware is the problem.
Hi, slow performance can be caused by number of reasons. basically need to take a look at Mac Activity Monitor counters (CP, Memory and Disk Usage) and the same at Windows Task Manager at the moment when the issue is reproduced.
