    Hello
I have tried to read some hints at your site. Everything that could cause an interruption is deactivated now. No more antivirus software is active. No way to complete the migration. I'm afraid reading those messages in the log file:
"Download failed. Http error 404. . . . . Unable to connect to the Parallels Update site."
"Unable send UDP datagram, service is not running."
"Error : Failed to read next block from DA snapshot"
    How to proceed?

It looks like the form check didn't like my quotation marks coming from my Mac.
(I have problems with your internet form here, requesting the best english
I put my concerns now in my so called "support request", I hope that will work. <-- I think that is no more valid now)

    best regards
    Hubert

    Hi HubertL,
Please refer the knowledge based article provided below. If all the steps are observed carefully then it should help you in migrating your Virtual Machine.
If it does not help then we will create a support ticket for you and will help you out in resolving this.

    Hello
I'd checked all of that what's in http://kb.parallels.com/113269 before I was writing my initial post. I checked again, here is my result:

--- Your system should meet the system requirements for Parallels Desktop for Mac
    - Intel Pentium M processor 1.86 GHz
    - 2 GB RAM, at least more than 256 MB RAM
    - 25.5 GB free on hard disk, at least more than 50 MB
    - Ethernet is OK, I'm able to visit your home page. BTW I wrote in my initial post "Download failed. Http error 404. . . . . Unable to connect to the Parallels Update site" - an error message from a log file. This tells everybody networking is OK..

--- Your Windows OS is installed on a partition C:. Parallels Transporter Agent cannot be configured to perform Windows migration from a non-default partition.
    - There is only 1 drive with 1 partition on C.

--- It is recommended to uninstall disk management tool from source Windows PC before the migration.
    - There is no disk management tool, really nothing additional...

--- Energy saving plans are set to "Never put to Sleep".
    - Everything is disabled.

--- Clarify Parallels Transporter versions compatibility in this article: KB #4977. For additional information please refer to KB #111549.
    - That's funny: KB #4977 leads to information about Parallels Transporter for Parallels Desktop 8 and lower - I think I'm going to use Parallels Desktop 10. In that case the additional information provided by KB #111549 doesn't make sense.

-- In case of hard disk errors on your Windows PC refer to Microsoft KB #315265 for Windows XP, this guide for Windows Vista and this guide for Windows 7 to check disk errors. For more information refer to this article: KB #111960.
    - There is no hard disk error, tested by the procedure proposed in the KB #315265

Thank you for the reply. I'm waiting for your help.

    Best regards
    Hubert

    Hi Dhruba
Thank you for the assistance. At least it was your hint to the article (119172) that leads me to the final article 115549 "How to check Windows hard disk for errors" - and that solves the problem by repairing one cluster.

From my point of view: there should be written a hint that could be read by everybody before starting a migration.
    Thank you
    Hubert
