Everything worked great before last Parallels update. Parallels updated but did not complete Parallels Tools installation. Have tried various things suggested in forum. Installation still hangs at 62 or 67%. While it is installing the Windows screen flashes a couple of times from the Windows desktop to the initial login screen.
    Any help is appreciated!

Maria, thanks but that apparently does not apply to my system. I did find under Windows Devices it shows IMAC-WINDOWS with a yellow exclamation point noting that it needs attention & says that the driver is unavailable.

I had a similar problem with a Parallels Desktop 10.x update (10.2 to 10.3) and now again installing Parallels Tools after upgrading to Parallels Desktop 11 Pro. In both cases I could solve the problem in this way:
    - uninstall previous version of Parallels Tools from Control Panel if possible (in my case I also got errors during uninstall)
    - reboot the virtual machine
    - delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Parallels
    - delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels
    - delete the folder C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Parallels
    - delete the content of C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Temp
    - delete the content of C:\WINDOWS\TEMP
    - delete the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Parallels
    - delete the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Parallels
    - delete the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Parallels
    - find and delete any "oemXX.inf" (and related "oemXX.pnf") file in C:\WINDOWS\inf containing information about Parallels Tools or Parallels software
    - reboot the virtual machine
    - disable anti-virus software (just in case...)
    - install Parallels Tools

    Hope it can help.

I've had the same problem on my Windows 7 install ever since the last 2 updates. Mine gets stuck at the same point. I haven't been able to fix it and am stuck with a partially functioning system unable to use coherence.

Yes, I've tried that. The problem is that mine is a work setup that I don't have admin privileges for, and my IT department has refused to help because they don't support Macs.

All I can do is either revert to an old snapshot and hope it installs correctly automatically (which doesn't work- it hangs at 67%), or hope you guys can work out and fix why it hangs at 67% by the time of the next update.
