Hi all hope someone can find time to give me some pointers please.
Am running Lion OSX 10.7 with Parallels 7.
All works fine no problems. But with all these updates and newer versions feel like I am being left behind.

My question will the software I have running in Parallels 7 on windows 7 still work / run if I upgrade to Parallels 10 which is windows 8 I think.
I think I know the answer but wanted to check with you first.

I have this vision if I upgrade to Parallels 10 I am going to spend days and weeks trying to get my software compatible with it. Some of the software I do not and cannot in some cases upgrade, I actually do not want to as it does the job I need perfectly.

Of course if no problem with V10 I would then most likely upgrade OSX to Yosemite.

    Many thanks, Karl.

    Hi Karl,
According to our licensing policy, an upgrade to Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac is supported from the following versions only :
    • Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac
    • Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac Upgrade
    • Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac
    • Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac Upgrade
If your previous version key is for Parallels Desktop 7 or earlier, please visit the Parallels Convenience Store to purchase a full license for Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac :

After upgrading Parallels Desktop 10 on your Mac which had an Older version, you do not need to re-install Windows or create a new virtual machine. You can use your existing virtual machine.
