Normally the red Windows 7 hard drive mounts to my mac desktop, and I can browse the files on Windows 7, but for some reason it isn't mounting right now. I've checked all the config settings and it is set to share Windows and Mac files and to mount the Windows Hard Drive to the Mac desktop, but it isn't there. I've also checked Finder to be sure it wasn't just hidden, but Finder is also set to display all mounted Hard Drives on the desktop, and I can see Macintosh HD so that is working. The strange thing is that dragging and dropping a PC file over onto the Mac works, but I still can't see the hard drive to browse PC files from Mac applications, usually when this happens I can't drag / drop the files from one side to the other. Any help anyone could give would be great, this has been an ongoing issue that seems to happen at random, normally reinstalling Parallels' Tools fixes it but it doesn't seem to have helped this time. Restarted both PC and Mac has not helped either. Running the latest version of Parallels 9 on OS X Mavericks. If you think that this sharing bug is fixed / helped by upgrading to Parallels 10 I'd be willing to try that.
Hi Nick, Please reproduce the issue and submit a Problem Report ID http://kb.parallels.com/9058 & provide us the ID number here, we'll check it for you.
