How do I get microsoft office documents to open on my mac?

    Hi,

    I am running parallels on my mac and it was working AMAZING.

    However, I ended up having to reinstall windows and I think some of my settings got messed up

    Before, I was able to open a word document from my mac email, but now they won't open and says it can't connect to the network

    Is there a setting I am supposed to change so that word/excel can open on my mac?

    HELP!!!!!! Going crazy

    Hi Michelle,
    Please follow the troubleshooting steps to fix the issue:
    1. Parallels Tools needs to be installed in Windows virtual Machine in-order to shared files and applications to Mac.
    2. Open virtual machine Configuration > switch to Options tab > Applications > set Email > Default.
    3. Please follow the steps suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/114124 to know how to open file located on the Mac side with Windows application
    and check if the issue persists.
