Hi all, I have a MacBook Air with Win 8.1 that was working fine until an update to Parallels Tools occurred on 4/10/15. Since then, after I type my login password, I get a black screen and nothing ever appears. If I do CTRL + ALT + DELETE I am able to run task manager, but explorer.exe does not start. I tried to uninstall the parallels display driver, reinstall parallel tools, and do a chkdsk through command prompt and nothing seems to be working. I am hoping someone here may be bale to provide me with a solution. Thanks in advanced!

Thanks! I tried this the other day but I get the Windows Resource Protection cannot start the repair service Have not been able to find a way around it. I checked to make sure the volumes were correct.
