I am running Parallels 10 on Yosemite on a Macbook Pro Retina 15. I have several VMs running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. Recently I discovered a strange issue with Parallels:
When I am running a Windows 7 VM alongside a Windows 8.1 VM (both are running in Fullscreen) and I quit the Windows 7 VM, the Windows 8.1 VM behaves weird: The Windows 8.1 Fullscreen Desktop appears now on the Mac Desktop 1 and 2 (it should only appear on Desktop Nr. 2). The only chance to resolve is to leave Fullscreen mode and then to re-enter Fullscreen mode in order have the Windows 8.1 VM behaving as it should. Has anyone else encountered similar fullscreen issues, that machines are appearing on multiple Max Desktops (though they should only appear on one desktop)?

    thanks
    Udo

Here is a screenshot showing the issue. As you can see, there is a single Windows 7 VM (Fullscreen) which has gone to sleep mode. When gone to Sleepmode the Fullscreen window spreads to all Mac OS X desktops. This error is driving me crazy, as it happens so many times every day. And each time I have to leave Fullscreen mode and turn it on again to have the VM behave correctly. I have never had this issue with earlier Parallels versions. It happens since I bought my new Macbook Pro Retina last December and installed Parallels 10.

I would check for updates in parallels and them reinstall parallels tools. I've noticed weird stuff like that happening when I have features of sharing enabled but not coherence. You might dry isolating the windows OS and see if you issue is still occurring. if it isn't then we found the issue and you can adjust your sharing preferences
Use coherence and set that application to the external monitor only using desktops building to osx
    accordingly
