Rebuilding Parallels on Macbook Pro.

Hi All, now i had the misfortune of having the OS 10.10.2 crash on my Macbook Pro so i had to save the data and do a clean install. Now i am rebuilding my laptop, having download Parallels again (Build 9.0.24251) how do i recover the data from the old Parallels - Windows 7 & other data i had in it? Thanks!

 

Hi Bernard,

All the Windows based applications, files and documents are saved in a file called Windows*.pvm which is either located at /Users/Documents/Parallels or /Users/Shared/Parallels.
You can copy that file from the back up and paste it to the exact same location on Mac and then run Windows by double clicking and opening it.
