    Help please!
Trying to create a new vpn and the software does not see the Bootcamp partition even though it is present on my desktop.
Reading through the support notes, I tried to create the vpn by following these instructions: http://kb.parallels.com/en/112941, and http://kb.parallels.com/en/116235
However when the "Update Windows" screen is displayed about 20% in and the process fails with this error:
"You need to log on to Windows to complete configuring your virtual machine"

[BTW, I have tried using VMware Fusion and no probs, it sees Bootcamp straight away]

How can I get this to work?

Im using the latest version of Parallels, Yosemite 10.10.2 on a 15" Macbook Pro 2013

    Thanks

    Hi Tonyw1,
    1. Please uninstall Parallels Desktop 10
    2. On your Mac, click on on Finder -> Applications -> Utilities -> Disk utility -> Macintosh HD -> Repair Disk Permission.
    3. Reboot the Mac.
    4. Download the latest build of Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac from : www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd10 and install it again
    5. Now try to perform the steps one more time and check how it works.

    Hi Maheesh
I did what you suggested and unfortunately the issue remains the same.
