I am trying the Windows 10 Technical Preview and after installing the latest updated build (9926), Parallels tools keeps reinstalling itself after each reboot. Now I realize that the Windows 10 Technical Preview is obviously still in testing, but this is rather annoying. Any suggestions/solutions? Thanks, Steve
Same here. MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) OS 10.10.2 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Intel Iris 1536 MB Parallels Version 10.1.3 (28868) Windows10_TechnicalPreview_x64_EN-US_9926.iso All peripherals were unplugged after the 12th reboot and its still happening.
I ended up going back to the previous build. Liked it better - especially the changes in the Start menu - anyway.
You can try the temporary work-around here: Windows 10 Preview 2 - Parallels Tools installs on every restart
