Shut down or Suspend?

Do I always need to fully shut down the Virtual Machine after each use to get allocated RAM back? Or is the RAM released if the Virtual Machine is suspended and the Windows Desktop icon in the dock is off? Thanks.

 

Hi Larry,

In order to get the RAM released back to Mac you need to shut down Windows. Windows will be using some amount of resources while in Suspend mode.
