I am evaluating whether to use Parallels for the Mac. I want to virtualize and migrate an existing laptop computer running Windows 7 to a virtual machine on the Mac.

I am wondering if I can reverse the process? Does Parallels have a tool that will migrate from the virtual machine on the Mac, to the physical PC? I am considering using the virtual machine as my "primary" instance, so after some weeks or months of work, I might want to snapshot it back to the PC.

Also, I might want to use the virtual machine as a method for a "bare metal restore" of the physical PC.

Just wondering if Parallels migration is two-way, or only one-way to get things onto virtual machine on the Mac but not back to the PC?

(I was going to simply contact support, but I'm required to activate the software to register with them and I'm not ready to do that.)

No, there isn't a easy way for that, VM to PC, only throught cloning tools like Acronis True Disk.
