I have a home drive in Windows that is on the network. I want to be able to see this in the Sidebar in the Finder in Mac. I have checked everything I can think of for sharing windows with the Mac, but it is not there.
Hi Bryan, The network drives from the Windows Virtual Machine cannot be accessed through the Mac side, so it won't be displayed in the Mac Finder.
Mounting the Virtual Machine file (.pvm) will only enable displaying the Windows Virtual Disks (C: D: drives) and not the network drives. Windows network drives can be accessed only through Windows Virtual Machine.
Glad to hear that. Yes, network drives can be directly connected to any OS, but cannot be mounted through Virtual Machine.
