I'm in need of a new computer and would like to get a Mac instead of a windows machine. However, I would like to virtualize my existing windows machine and put it on the Mac. I don't want to lose any of my existing data or software. Is this possible with the Parallels software?

    Hi Brian,
Yes, it is possible to virtualize your existing Windows PC to Parallels Virtual Machine without loosing any information or data in your Windows PC.
Please follow the steps as given in the knowledge-base article : http://kb.parallels.com/115007 to migrate a Windows PC to Parallels Desktop Virtual Machine
Before migrating the Windows PC, please ensure it is running a BIOS or EFI/UEFI by following the steps as given at http://kb.parallels.com/115815
