    Hi there - I have Pv5 desktop... Mac OSX 10.6.8 ... Windows 7

Im wanting to upgrade both parallels & Mac OS
As I understand it I might not be able to install the latest Mac OS 10.10 or Pv10 due to compatibility issues

Ive been told several different things from phone, email and chat support with a so far frustrating non answers - yay support!
So, I turn to the Forums for help ideally I'd like more than upgrade OS to Yosemite then get P10... I get that.

But given age of current set up I want to prevent issues from jumping too many product versions and I really dont want to end up with a very expensive desk ornament.

So far Im thinking upgrade Pv5 to Pv7 as a minimum and then upgrade then upgrade to OSX 10.7/10.8 as a first step
I know this stair step upgrading might be overkill but Id rather go slow than jump versions and create a bigger problem.
    Thoughts...?

What would be the best way to go about upgrading?

    Thanks in advance
    Phil
