    Hi All,

I have Windows 7 installed on Parallels and on Windows I have installed Cisco IP Communicator (CIPC). Now, when I run CIPC it runs and I use the audio tuning wizard to adjust the sound settings which is completed successfully. When I run CIPC it run and logs to the call manager fine. My extension shows on the CIPC and I am able to dial as well. When I dial the call rings on the other end and apparently the other end can hear what I am saying but on my end there is no sound.

I have researched alot about this issue and have no solution. Any help is appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    Fawaz.

    Hi All,

I figured out what the issue was. If you run the VPN SW (in my case Cisco Any Connect) from OS X then open CIPC in the VM then the audio does not come. If though you run the VPN SW (Cisco Any Connect) from the Windows 7 VM itself then open CIPC, it works perfectly!

Maybe this will be helpful to someone.

    Fawaz.

You are the first I have heard that has been able to get this to work. Were you able to change the audio modes? I'm only able to change the Ringer audio mode, which always worked anyway. The microphone side works, just no audio. I installed a usb headset and it only shows up under Ringer, but not headset. Very frustrating.
