Folks, I am trying to install Windows 7 from a flash drive into a new VM using Parallels 9. All goes smoothly until the system trys to boot Windows and I get a rundown of the "boot from" list showing that booting from a USB drive fails. Parallels initially sees the USB flash drive as containing a bootable image and I select that option, but after entering the key, it fails to install. Any suggestions?

    Hi Douglas,

Parallels Desktop 9 does not support installation of Windows directly from USB flash drive. So instead you can try to create an iso image file and use that iso file for Windows installation.
-How to create iso file: http://kb.parallels.com/en/4917
    -Windows installation: http://kb.parallels.com/en/4729
Please let us know if you have any questions.
