SSH time out in Windows XP

    I can open a terminal ssh session in OSX, and then run parallels, and run a terminal ssh session in Windows XP using putty, or other ssh terms.

    The terminal in OSX does not time out, yet in WIndows XP (in Parallels) the terminal always times out after ~30 minutes.

    This happens under a variety of terminal emulators.

    Is there a setting in Parallels that is affecting this time out?

    Did you enable keep-alive in the Putty Connections menu?
