    Hello,

I am running Yosemite 10.10.2 and Parallels Desktop 10.1.1 (28614) with no pending available updates in either product.
When I activate my Windows 7 (Enterprise SP1) virtual machine, everything seems to work fine except the display driver.
Device Manager shows no problem with the device, yet Aero capability has gone. When I run the Aero troubleshooter, the wizard tells me that the display driver needs to be WDDM compliant.

I have reinstalled Parallels Tools on the Windows 7 machine 3 times and rebooted a number of times too with no luck. My Windows 8.1 virtual machine seems to be behaving fine.

When I run 'dxdiag' on the Windows 7 machine, under 'Display', all DirectX Features are listed as Not Available. When I perform the same function on the Windows 8.1 machine, all report as Enabled.

There is no way to reinstall or repair DirectX on the Windows 7 machine, but I believe it more to be a problem with the Windows 7 display driver that's installed and an incompatibility between these versions. I have removed the display driver from the virtual machine, checked for changes and had it reinstall the driver fine. Device Manager states that the display adaptor is 'Parallels Display Adaptor (WDDM) and "working properly". The driver is marked as date 23/10/2014 and version 10.1.28614.0 by Parallels, Inc.

Is anyone else running the exact same configuration as me without problems?

    Quick update:
After downgrading to Parallels Desktop 10.0.0-27675 and reinstalling the older Parallels Tools, the same problem still presents itself.

At this point in time it appears to be related to the Yosemite 10.10.2 beta. I will provide my feedback through to them.
