I started seeing "new" behavior on the prior upgrade - the Windows Start button and task bar appeared on the bottom of the desktop for the first time in ~4 years. This was accompanied by the Parallels VM control window (for lack of a better term) appearing on the native desktop and persisting. (In prior versions I would start Parallels, the VM would initiate and then I'd just have the Windows icon in my OSX task bar.) Now I have upgraded to Yosemite and the latest version of Parallels. Everything initializes and I get a small VM window that I can log in to but full screen mode is the only functional option. I can select coherence mode but nothing happens. This is incredibly frustrating and I have been unable to turn up any similar reports by searching the knowledgebase. Parallels tells me I have 600+ days of support available but wants me to purchase more support, which makes as much sense as the problem I'm seeing.
