5060 - DirectX always enabled?

I can't seem to find a setting to enable or disable DirectX support in Windows XP VMs, on build 5060. Is this something you will re-introduce? With previous version it was convenient to turn-off DirectX on "work" VMs where it is unneeded because it was speeding things up a little bit.

Will the performance be on par with / without DX on newer builds, such that such a setting should be useless in the future? If so, great! Else, please bring back, if possible, a way to turn off DX on VMs where it is not needed.

The toggle on/off is on the Video tab of the Configuration screen.
