Anyone encountered this problem? My iMac meets the system requirements and I am running the most recent version of Parallels 8 (
Build 8.0.18619). I have downloaded the Desktop 10 update 3 times and each of the files results in the following error message:

"Install.app" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.

I bought and paid for the upgrade online through Parallels website. I don't find any KB articles about this error. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!
    Kevin

Seems like an incomplete download. The .dmg you download should be ~289 MB.

Downloaded file is consistently 288.6 MB (even though email indicates the file size is 275 MB for the update).

Do you know how to check the SHA sum or MD5 of a file?
    (in terminal: SHA "shasum /path/to/filename"; MD5 "md5 /path/to/filename" )

    In my case
    file: ParallelsDesktop-10.0.2-27712.dmg
    size: 288 557 586 bytes
    sha1: 1eb0853923e6b5577e95dffbc1188cd438928caa
    md5: 95e4f8096beca890342186edc6296d13

If the values differ from yours then the file is corrupted.

Is this the link you are using? http://www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd10

Also, what is your OS X version and your iMac year of manufacture?

Thank you! Your link worked!!! I was originally downloading from a link supplied in the confirmation email when I purchased the upgrade.

I very much appreciate your insight and assistance! Thanks again! Kevin
