Sometimes I run few VMs in Full Screen mode. When I'd like to switch between them using mission control in Mavericks, I don't know which VM should I choose, because all of them are named Parallels Desktop. It is possible to change description into VM name? peches
Hi SylwesterP, You may assign Virtual Machine only to one Desktop space. Please follow this article to proceed: http://kb.parallels.com/en/122350
Yeah, but in OS X 10.9 Maverics Parallel Desktop in Full Screen Mode creates own desktop and all this desktops (if I run more than one VM) is named "Paralell Desktop". If I start, for example, MS Word and I start writing two documents in full screen mode, then every documents creates own desktop which is named like document ("Document1", "Document2", "Bilans", "report" etc), not MS Word. thanks Sylwester
Hi SylwesterP I just opened the Word Document on Windows 8.1 VM and the name of the new document - Document 1. If I rename it to some other name => it'll display this name next time I open it. So it is by design of MS Word. Regarding the origin question. Please do this preference for each VM you'd like to run in Fullscreen mode: Virtual Machine -> Configure...-> Full Screen -> untick "Use Mac OS X Full Screen" And you'll see that in Mission control (ctrl + ^) you have each VM located on a separate Space named as Desktop1. Desktop2 etc.
Ok, it's temporarily solution. I don't want few desktops all the time, I'd like it only when I start VM. Could you treat it as feature request? In one of the next updates? It will be very welcome. Thanks Sylwester
