When I select "Run Parallels Compressor" from the Actions menu, I get the standard warning dialogue, select OK and then NOTHING HAPPENS. If I return to the Actions menu it says "Cancel Parallels Compressor" so it thinks something is running.

I was having the same problem with "Install Parallel Tools" until someone in another thread pointed out that you need to use Windows Explorer to go to the Tree menu and locate the Setup folder for Parallels Tools. Once I clicked on that it went through the normal install process and is now working fine.

Unfortunately, I can't locate a folder for the Compressor application in the same fashion.

Anyone have any ideas? My disc is fast being eaten up by the uncompacted C: Drive.

Open parallels and click on Hard disk, then go to advanced and compact your drive. This might work

Thanks! Worked like a charm. Although it would still be nice if the menu functionality did what it was supposed to do.

Parallels Compressor Works Fine for Me in 3.0 Build 4560

Parallels Compressor works fine for me. I'm running Parallels 3.0 build 4560, with Windows XP Pro SP2 inside my VMs.
