I have a few MS Excel files on my OSX Desktop. One has the double red lines/Parallels Logo in the bottom right of the file icon, while another excel files does not. Can anyone explain what this means? I want to make sure it's not a compatibility issue. One excel file is an alias, but the Parallels logo was there before I made an alias and it's on most of my other MS Office files. See screen shot..

    Any thoughts?

Looks like those are two different types of files. Even though they are both excel, they look like they are opened by different programs. The one above is opened by native excel in windows and the one below looks like a parallels link to something.

Looking at the info, both files open using MS Excel. I wonder if one file being newer, saved at an xlxs file vs. a xls file is what's happening.
