Unable to copy paste from Windows to OS X

I am using Parallels Desktop 9 and running Windows 7.

I followed these instructions from a Parallels support document:

For closer integration between Mac OS X and your Windows guest OS, Parallels Desktop provides the possibility to copy and paste formatted text and pictures and drag and drop files between Mac OS X and the virtual machine operating system.

Note: To use these functionalities, you should have Parallels Tools installed in the virtual machine, the Isolate Mac from Windows option disabled in the Security pane, and the Share Mac clipboard and Preserve text formatting options enabled in the Advanced pane.

However, I cannot copy/paste from Windows to OS X. The clipboards seem to be separate.

Any suggestions about what I might be able to do to fix this?

Try to Uninstall Parallels Tools completely and install it again as suggested at : http://kb.parallels.com/4841

Also make sure that you are running the latest build of Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac : http://kb.parallels.com/111603 and check how it goes!
