    Hi,

I have 4 Installations of Win7 Prof. 64Bit here on Parallels 9 (latest version) here.

We struggled a long time getting it to work with an USB dongle necessary for DATEV (accounting software) but finally it worked.

But now Win7 asked just for another update and the person in front of the computer simply agreed to install it.
After this now the Win7 is not able anymore to shut down anymore - it simply hangs during the shutdown process (blue screen showing "shutdown in process") and shows the turning ball. It`s not possible to stop this and to restart Windows. Closing / stopping the emulation doesn`t help too because restarting Parallels leads back to a Windows freezed at the same status.

We urgently need this Win7 back for the accounting software.

Ah - and by the way - I can`t tell which version of Win7 it is or which update caused the problem - as told we can`t re-enter the system to have a look at this :-((

Any idea how to proceed ??? Help urgently needed !!

    kind regards
    Roland

    Hi Roland,

Please resume Windows 7 Virtual Machine from Suspended state and stop the Virtual Machine.

To stop the Virtual Machine, Go to Virtual Machine menu > Click 'Stop'. You should be able to get normal Virtual Machine window and start Windows Virtual Machine to check how it works!
