The complimentary Kaspersky for Windows initially installed without problem (13 days left on my trial period). Yesterday I noticed a warning that Windows had no antivirus/security protection. Using the Parallels security center, Kaspersky for Windows downloads but does not install following the shutdown/restart. After attempting the reinstallation yesterday, a grey box now appears on the screen when Parallels enters coherence mode. How do I reinstall Kaspersky for Windows? Since Windows antivirus protection is critical, can I install Avast for Windows if the Kaspersky reinstallation continues to be a problem? The grey box does not affect functionality. It would be nice to eliminate but my first priority is the antivirus protection. I am running Windows 8.1 (appearing as Windows 7) and Parallels Desktop 9. Kaspersky for Mac installed and is running without problems. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Resolved After posting this message, I solved both issues by turning off coherence and then installing Kaspersky for Windows. Hopefully this post will help others.
