    Howdy--

I am running (2) Thunderbolt displays and no laptop monitor, so I have two functional displays. I am currently running Parallels on only one of those monitors. Am I able to extend the VM onto the second monitor so that I can drag and drop windows between the two extended VM windows? If so, how?

    Thanks!

Thanks, Abdul; I'm running Parallels 8. Therefore, I tried changing my Mac's Mission Control settings by unchecking the "Displays have separate spaces" box and within Parallel View making sure that "Use all displays in full screen" was checked.

I am able to extend my VM onto a second monitor now, but the VM environment is scrambled / pixelated / random sized lines, etc. You've probably seen the pictures.

    What can I try next?

    Thanks,

As a follow up, I can get one screen to work by unchecking within Parallels View settings the "Use all displays in full screen mode", but I cannot get the second monitor to work (it remains pixelated, scrambled, etc).

I did try a re-start of both the VM and Mac to no avail.

So I discovered something weird. With Mission Control -> Displays Have Separate Spaces unchecked and Parallels -> View -> Use All Displayed in Full Screen checked, I can expand the VM window 50% of the way onto the second monitor. However, if I go greater than about 50% (I'm using the Apple logo in the center of the monitor as a guide), the VM window goes pixelated like I shared in the Problem Report.

    Standing by.

    Thanks,

    Okay, progress.

I shut down Windows and then went to my Parallels Configuration -> Hardware -> Video and I disabled 3D Acceleration, which now allows me to have a full VM screen across both of my monitors.

However, I still have Mission Control "Displays have separate spaces" unchecked, which means that I am effectively back to Mountain Lion's treatment of Desktop Spaces as being linked between the two monitors--plus the "toolbar" is only located on the top of my primary monitor. Crap!

Is there any way to operate the VM between 2 monitors while having "Displays have separate spaces" checked????

    Thanks,

    Aventeren
