I've bought a new iMac and want to transfer Parallels and Windows to my new machine before I sell the old one. Can I clone it or do I have to do a fresh install of Parallels/Windows and copy all the data?
    Thanks.

    Hello Krawfo,

You can transfer Parallels Desktop from one Mac to another but you can't clone it. In order to move the software from one computer to another, you should first uninstall Parallels Desktop from your old Mac, then install it on the new one. Also you can transfer an existing virtual machine to your new Mac.

Follow the steps as suggested at: http://kb.parallels.com/116527 to move Parallels Desktop to a new Mac.

Also follow the steps suggested at: http://kb.parallels.com/114118 to transfer an existing virtual machine to your new Mac or an external drive.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.
